Continuing with the 'scaaary' motif, today we're bringing you another Elite enemy character. It's unfortunate that the school mascot, Randy the Racoon, got swallowed by the Horde. What was once cute, cuddly, and a beacon for school spirit has now transformed into something much more sinister. This enemy has two forms: both of which are guaranteed to be equally as terrifying. This is early development and ALL SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

You know, that first form looks way too much like pedo bear...Was that the art you used as the base for? haha! And that second form, scares the ba-jesus out of me! One more thing! Do you guys have any concept art of the schools emblem? Just wondering!

I really don't like this to be honest. Memes have a very short shelf life and Pedobear's time has already come and gone in my opinion. The zombified form does look good, but the left hand version just shouldn't be in the game. It doesn't match the rest of the game's style and it's not that funny. But that's my opinion. I think it'd make some people uncomfortable given the implications with Pedobear.

@Mr_Chinchilla Even though pedobear has passed, this is a perfect way to bring him back to life! (Zombie pun, Lol) Also, pedobear is still used, just he not AS big as he used to be. And besides, its funny, and no one else has said anything negetive but you, so by popular vote, it should stay.

@homestuckofthedead I know I'm in the minority but I wanted to speak up. It's just in my opinion that the pedobear meme is stale, not that humorous and some people take issue with it. Besides, who knows if it'll stay or not; everything shown thus far has been alpha images. The crew behind the project asked for what people thought, so I was throwing in my two cents.

Kyon doesn't suit you! @Mr_Chinchilla I do think they're happy for your two cents, but I just wanted to say that most people are happy with how the design is now and can't wait for the final version. I'm sorry for singling you out, but we like the design and we are hoping it would stay!

@Mr_Chinchilla I have to agree with you on this. Everything else iv'e seen are strong and original designs and this just doesn't quite fit. Having said that im still glad im backing this game, and am quite excited for this. Memes come and go so often its becoming a '15minutes of fame' thing. I personally feel its a little cheap but hey, the public has spoken.

@Mr_Chinchilla I agree on this point. I personally would prefer as much original content as can be included as opposed to already existent memes. Plus Pedobear was never really that entertaining for me at all.

Honestly I think the first form is too similar to "Pedo bear", and as someone who oppose of this meme, it immediately put me off. You might as well put rape-jokes in there too if you include a pedo-bear. It's the same level of "fun". And using a meme as base for a character is too unoriginal anyway, especially since the rest of the game is very interesting and original.
Second form looks great though, very scary, so that one definitely works! -

I think the idea is that the first form transforms into the second. Personally I would like to see the transformation animation this guy has.
Also the general subtext of using pedobear as a base I am assuming is that he is not as innocent as he first appears. Which is kind of what the whole 'meme' is about. -
So, does the scary form's head break of to eat kids while the body kills more, or is the image right of the scary form just it with the mask off?

I have never understood the "humor" behind rape and pedophilia jokes. It's just not funny. I think this game looks awesome. It looks fun, interesting, clever, and even funny, all without stooping to the level of Pedobear. -
