Yeah, Higurashi is pretty screwed up. I can handle blood and gore (e.g., Hellsing), but the over-the-top brutality in stuff like Higurashi, Corpse Party, etc., is just disturbing.

I'm inclined to agree. A little PR to drum up some more interest in the game wouldn't go amiss, especially some shiny website updates. Although perhaps MB is waiting until their product is more or less ready before focusing on marketing?
